Zacarias Paublo struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Baldomero Cordarell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. In the 13th minute Norberto Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Cordarell had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Norberto Casado from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Baldomero Cordarell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Paublo in the 40th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Gomesano was the one to do the kick off. If Norberto Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zacarias Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Ramos couldn't finish the play. Victorio Ticho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Norberto Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorio Ticho's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Ticho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Sampacho City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Ticho to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Casado in the 65th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Fermin Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matias Santxol's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Racing Club reached it. In the 70th minute, Norberto Casado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Cordarell was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Norberto Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergio Herrera's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Herrera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Sergio Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sampacho City's Evaristo Tolino got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Francisco Calvino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomero Cordarell. Sampacho City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Anastasio Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Ranolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute Geronimo Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Cordarell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Casado went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Racing Club were the better team. Racing Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
