Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) Pichanas's Desiderio Martino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Pichanas's zone, Norberto Casado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Maidana came out of the goal and Norberto Casado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Castulo's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Castulo helped the player get up and apologised. If Geronimo Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bonifacio Maidana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zacarias Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes, Fermin Ramos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pichanas's Bonifacio Maidana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Norberto Casado scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Maidana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22ndth minute of the game Zacarias Paublo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pichanas's Bonifacio Maidana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 played minutes Pichanas got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Abreu. In the 29th minute Norberto Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Maidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Paublo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Norberto Casado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Casado to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Ramos in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Maidana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the game, Rosendo Iago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Ambrosio Cordario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Pichanas booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Paublo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Maidana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Ermegildo Castulo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. After 83 played minutes Pichanas got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Castulo. Norberto Casado scored 1-6 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Maidana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bonifacio Maidana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Casado's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Bonifacio Maidana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Casado in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Anastasio Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pichanas's Bonifacio Maidana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Pichanas from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Racing Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pichanas throughout the match.
