The Villaguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Erasmo Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Braulio Orlondo was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Erasmo Gomesano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erasmo Gomesano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 20thth minute of the game Dante Santikurtz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sampacho City's Baldomero Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dionisio Dominguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Braulio Orlondo made a huge save. In the 29th minute Erasmo Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Santikurtz in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Cordarell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baldomero Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Abaunza in the 32nd minute of play. Godofredo Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villaguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Abaunza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Dionisio Dominguez hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Dionisio Dominguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Orlondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Godofredo Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Dionisio Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sampacho City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Dominguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorio Ticho hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Santikurtz in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Cordarell saved Sampacho City from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Villaguay's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Dominguez came free, but Braulio Orlondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Abaunza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Cordarell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. When Dionisio Dominguez came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sampacho City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Dominguez couldn't finish the play. Braulio Orlondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Ticho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Santikurtz in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baldomero Cordarell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Baldomero Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Villaguay's Dante Santikurtz in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Godofredo Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Cordarell having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Villaguay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sampacho City.
