Genaro Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Berlín FC's zone, Gustavo Kimetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Felipillo came out of the goal and Gustavo Kimetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Palmarcito getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jonathan Natal hit a great ball. The supporters of Palmarcito booed when Berlín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Toribio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes in the game Erasmo Barrionuevo got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Palmarcito's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Ubarna came free, but Aurelio Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Gustavo Kimetz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Genaro Felipillo. Gustavo Kimetz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Angel Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berlín FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Salomone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Ricart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angel Salomone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Ricart having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Fidel Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernan Lordi made a kick off. Angel Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Ubarna in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Guido Martxelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Palmarcito's Hernan Lordi got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Hernan Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Bakar's late challenge caught a Palmarcito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Bakar helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Berlín FC got a freekick which was hit by David Bakar. Gustavo Kimetz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Felipillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Genaro Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Medardo in the 88th minute of the match. Arsenio Serafo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Serafo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 92 minutes into the game, one of Palmarcito:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Braulio Vidal walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Angel Salomone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Aurelio Ricart made a huge save. When Aquilino Medardo fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmarcito's protests and gave Aquilino Medardo a yellow card for diving instead. Aquilino Medardo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Palmarcito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
