Santo Jurdan's late challenge caught a Retamal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Venceslao was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Casalins AFC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Munio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavio Ospin. Retamal's Lorenzo Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Marcones in the 15th minute of play. Lorenzo Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Retamal's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Marcones came free, but Lorenzo Isidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Casalins AFC's Felipe Petri got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Casalins AFC's Ambrosio Munio got control of the ball when Octavio Ospin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 minutes, Urbano Merexildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Retamal and the Casalins AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Casalins AFC booed when Retamal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Merexildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafin Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Retamal's Vinicio Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ladislao Lop took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lorenzo Isidor. Retamal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Retamal's Lorenzo Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Gorri in the 44th minute of play. If Serafin Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Retamal's Lorenzo Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Gorri in the 55th minute of play. Godfredo Neto took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ambrosio Munio. Ambrosio Munio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cleto Marcones could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Isidor made a huge save. Urbano Merexildo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Enrique Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Casalins AFC's zone, Octavio Ospin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Munio came out of the goal and Octavio Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleto Marcones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Isidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Serafin Gorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casalins AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Gorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lorenzo Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Gorri in the 97th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
