C. A. Soy Loco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrizal FC the free kick. After 4 played minutes C. A. Soy Loco got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Servando. In the 6th minute, Edelmiro Sein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Mogel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 9th playminute. After having played for 16 minutes, Bruno Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Soy Loco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Lugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Delmiro Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Silverio Alfonso fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrizal FC's protests and gave Silverio Alfonso a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carrizal FC! Julian Liberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Faron in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Elivareo saved C. A. Soy Loco from getting behind. Carrizal FC's Roberto Matro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Carrizal FC from getting a goal against them. Delmiro Mogel had several of the Carrizal FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Roberto Matro as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Faron to make the kick off. Andres Tono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Elivareo having to interfere. With 69 minutes on the clock, Wilfredo Sauveur commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Soy Loco from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, C. A. Soy Loco's goalkeeper Jonathan Elivareo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Tono. In the 85th minute, Clemente Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Delmiro Mogel came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the C. A. Soy Loco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Mogel couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Elivareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
