The supporters of Marini booed when Barsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Jerico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Marini were awarded a corner. Nicolas Lucado went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Nicolas Lucado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barsa FC's Mateo Kaxen did a great save. Marini's Fausto Donzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Tadzio in the 16th minute of play. Zeledon Frisco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fausto Donzel made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Marini's zone, Isidoro Matro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Donzel came out of the goal and Isidoro Matro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Donzel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Tadzio in the 23rd minute. Angelo Quirce struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Mateo Kaxen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marini. With a little luck, Marini's Fausto Donzel got control of the ball when Isidoro Tadzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Donzel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Tadzio in the 41st minute. Isidoro Tadzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Paez got free with Mateo Kaxen in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
