The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Tadzio got free with Arnaldo Lehior in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaldo Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Matro in the 18th minute of play. Isidoro Tadzio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Arnaldo Lehior skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Independiente booed when Barsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Jonatan Miro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Barsa FC's Mateo Kaxen. Mateo Kaxen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victoriano Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Norberto Remigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Kaxen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Virgilio Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Remigio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mateo Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Matro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Tadzio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Lehior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Mauricio Uzuri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barsa FC the free kick. In the 45th minute, Mauricio Uzuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Matro made a kick off. If Lisandro Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Miro struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mateo Kaxen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Miro in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Kaxen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jonatan Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute of the match Lisandro Gutierrez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Lehior skillfully saved the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Isidoro Matro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Independiente's Arnaldo Lehior. Arnaldo Lehior was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidoro Matro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isidoro Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Lehior having to interfere. Mateo Kaxen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Miro in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
