Simon Satordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marini's Fausto Donzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Marini from getting a goal against them. Fausto Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Hodei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Paez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Regis having to interfere. Simon Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aureliano Hodei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Hodei struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fausto Donzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drysdale AFC. 30 minutes into the match, Angelo Quirce notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Drysdale AFC's Isidro Regis. Isidro Regis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Satordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Marini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Muc to maneuver through the defense. When Aureliano Hodei, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fausto Donzel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Aureliano Hodei came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Drysdale AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Hodei couldn't finish the play. If Christian Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Paez in the 43rd minute of play forced Drysdale AFC's goalkeeper Isidro Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Drysdale AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marini were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Quirce to make the kick off. Lorenzo Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Israel Faro's late challenge caught a Marini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Faro helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Satordi in the 56th minute of play forced Marini's goalkeeper Fausto Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Satordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Marini getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Donato Muc hit a great ball. In the 68th minute of the match Nicolas Lucado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidro Regis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 69 played minutes Marini got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Quirce. Fausto Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Aureliano Hodei might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Donzel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Hodei ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the match, Angelo Quirce dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isidro Regis, 0-2. Christian Paez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Isidro Regis made a huge save. Christian Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marini's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
