An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sarracino in the 19th minute of play forced olimpo's goalkeeper Esteban Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talleres's Edgard Breogan got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Arotza made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Edgard Breogan sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Alvaro Sarracino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saverio Katia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Dalmu having to interfere. Anselmo Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gilberto Dalmu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Salomon came free, but Gilberto Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the olimpo and the Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to olimpo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Saverio Katia hit a great ball. Saverio Katia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Gilberto Dalmu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, Anselmo Salomon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. olimpo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Alvaro Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Sarracino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
