The referee ignored Los Billys's protests and gave Romeo Florinio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Billys getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Romeo Florinio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SALE!!!'s zone, Jacinto Eneas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Gaitan came out of the goal and Jacinto Eneas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Eneas in the 8th minute of play forced SALE!!!'s goalkeeper Esteve Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Lucila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Esteve Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Billys's Romeo Florinio got his second yellow card of the match in the 14th minute. The referee ordered Romeo Florinio off the ground. After a rather tough play, Los Billys's Romeo Florinio got a free kick in the 15th minute. A collision led to Los Billys getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ildefonso Amaya hit a great ball. Gerardo Gerazan came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by SALE!!!'s Marcelino Corderun. But to his dismay, Marcelino Corderun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Los Billys's Ildefonso Amaya got a free kick in the 23rd minute. SALE!!!'s Tomas Domenec couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Billys. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Corderun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Gerazan was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind SALE!!!'s goalkeeper Esteve Gaitan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Los Billys's Ildefonso Amaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Gaitan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SALE!!!'s Nunez Lizbeth got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Joel Lucila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Esteve Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Billys's Joel Lucila got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Gerazan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Corderun, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes Los Billys got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Pelayo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Lucila to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, SALE!!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Martxel to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Joel Lucila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joel Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Lucila in the 62nd minute of play forced SALE!!!'s goalkeeper Esteve Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Lucila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Esteve Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SALE!!!'s Benjamin Martxel pulled a muscle in his leg after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 65 minutes, Ildefonso Amaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Billys and the SALE!!! players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SALE!!! booed when Los Billys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Abeita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Los Billys's Joel Lucila made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Gaitan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacinto Eneas struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Esteve Gaitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Billys. Joel Lucila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Gaitan having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Joel Lucila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SALE!!! succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Los Billys had controlled the match.
