La pampa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Gartzen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Foro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Larpe having to make a save. The ACF Fiorentina players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
