The audience was convinced that Augusto Silban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Ramone was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Semeno in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The long shot by Tadeo Rik in the 20th minute really tested Ivan Gartzea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Gaspar Millan fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tapones De Punta's protests and gave Gaspar Millan a yellow card for diving instead. Gaspar Millan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Severo Navarro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Gartzea. Tapones De Punta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Silban in the 30th minute of play forced Ichipuca FC's goalkeeper Fabian Ramone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Silban struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Fabian Ramone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapones De Punta. Felix Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Ramone having to interfere. Augusto Silban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fabian Ramone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Semeno was the one to do the kick off. Felix Semeno took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Ramone. Fabian Ramone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Ichipuca FC booed when Tapones De Punta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Oro in the 62nd minute of play forced Tapones De Punta's goalkeeper Ivan Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a left leg Fabian Ramone saved Ichipuca FC from getting behind. Ichipuca FC's Fabian Ramone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Semeno in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Oro in the 90th minute of play forced Tapones De Punta's goalkeeper Ivan Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tapones De Punta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
