Ivan Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Hori in the 3rd minute of play. Gaspar Millan hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Hori in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Gartzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimiro Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ivan Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comba Fútbol Klub's Baldomero Hori got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Comba Fútbol Klub's Eustaquio Loramendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Comba Fútbol Klub from getting a goal against them. Tapones De Punta's Ivan Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Hori in the 21st minute of play. Vladimiro Chaime recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Chaime, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Vladimiro Chaime got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Vladimiro Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Chaime in the 40th minute of play forced Tapones De Punta's goalkeeper Ivan Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Semeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Evarado's late challenge caught a Tapones De Punta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Evarado helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Augusto Silban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tapones De Punta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 56 minutes into the match, Comba Fútbol Klub's Baldomero Hori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Gartzea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Augusto Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Loramendi having to interfere. A collision led to Comba Fútbol Klub getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Claudio Evarado hit a great ball. Felix Semeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Augusto Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapones De Punta's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Silban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Loramendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Comba Fútbol Klub's Claudio Evarado got a free kick in the 77th minute. Augusto Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Ortzi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Romulo Diegotxe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Augusto Silban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tapones De Punta fully deserved thier win.
