Victor Cordeal might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Gartzea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Cordeal ran back to his position shaking his head. Ambrosio Santio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Gartzea having to interfere. Tapones De Punta's Fulgencio Llorian suffered a concussion after 16 minutes and had to leave the field. 16 minutes into the game, Zacarias Mede was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Ciclon de Barracas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapones De Punta the free kick. A collision led to El Ciclon de Barracas getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Zacarias Mede hit a great ball. Victor Cordeal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ivan Gartzea made a huge save. Victor Cordeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ivan Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Tello having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Zacarias Mede managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Ciclon de Barracas's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Mede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Gartzea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Cordeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Gartzea having to interfere. If Victor Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Victor Cordeal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 played minutes Tapones De Punta got a freekick which was hit by Julio Eladio.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Silban was the one to do the kick off. Victor Cordeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ivan Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Cordeal in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the El Ciclon de Barracas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
