Baldomiro Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Ramone having to interfere. Enzo Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Navarro during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of La pampa F.C booed when Ichipuca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see La pampa F.C's Amado Goi in action when he in the 21st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Clemente Maurino hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Baldomiro Gartzen came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the La pampa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Gartzen couldn't finish the play. Elias Oro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Honesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Guillermo Celio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ichipuca FC's Enzo Cutberto came free and shot a quick shot against goal 32 minutes in the game, fortunately Ermegildo Honesto had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a defensive mix-up in La pampa F.C's zone, Elias Oro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Honesto came out of the goal and Elias Oro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Baldomiro Gartzen came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the La pampa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Gartzen couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Elias Oro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Oro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, La pampa F.C's Hector Foro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Ramone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baldomiro Gartzen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
