Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Mencué FC's Zacarias Eutropio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Melchor Playo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mateo Izel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th match minute, Mencué FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Goito to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Playo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Izel saved Mencué FC from getting behind. Lucas Teyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benigno Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Eutropio in the 20th minute of play. Lucas Teyo scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Izel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melchor Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Melchor Playo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Bicha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Playo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Teyo in the 36th minute of play forced Mencué FC's goalkeeper Mateo Izel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Omar Goito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Teyo in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Izel saved Mencué FC from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Mencué FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Teyo came free, but Mateo Izel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mateo Izel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melchor Playo was the one to do the kick off. If Lucas Teyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Melchor Playo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mencué FC's Mateo Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Playo in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Mencué FC's goalkeeper Mateo Izel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Teyo. After having played for 73 minutes, Melchor Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bicha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Playo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Teyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mateo Izel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes in the game, Lucas Teyo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mateo Izel having to interfere. Aureliano Galeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Izel having to interfere. With a little luck, Mencué FC's Mateo Izel got control of the ball when Lucas Teyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Constantino Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Melchor Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Izel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bicha booed when Mencué FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Eutropio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mencué FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bicha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
