The audience was convinced that Constantino Lucero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Salvino was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Mateo Izel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Otsando in the 18th minute of play forced Mencué FC's goalkeeper Mateo Izel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Ubaldo Otsando elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Salvador Oroitz charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Oroitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Punua getting a freekick after 23 minutes play.
