The supporters of Punua booed when Tiamayo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Argoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Mark was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Punua's zone, Felipe Florin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Salvino came out of the goal and Felipe Florin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tiamayo AFC's Felipe Florin in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Punua's goalie prevented a goal. When Rolando Silban fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punua's protests and gave Rolando Silban a yellow card for diving instead. Rolando Silban kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Punua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Otsando to maneuver through the defense. Guido Orlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Domingues having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiamayo AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipe Florin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Salvino having to make a save. Urbano Selatse hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Tiamayo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Otsando came free, but Eduardo Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tiamayo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
