One of Pastillos AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marzala:s goal. The referee gave Marzala a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celso Xacintu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pastillos AFC's Leonides Ignatius. 1-0. Justino Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gaston Firmin charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Firmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Pastillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Firmin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pastillos AFC's zone, Justino Malvin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Ignatius came out of the goal and Justino Malvin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marzala's goalkeeper Adolfo Urdaspal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Marzala's Evaristo Pere got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Cristo Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Marzala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes, Pastillos AFC's Ivan Frutos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adolfo Urdaspal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pastillos AFC reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Ciano in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Ignatius saved Pastillos AFC from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Rigoberto Otsando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marzala's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celso Xacintu in the 69th minute. Celso Xacintu made a great header on Marzala's corner, it was just that Pastillos AFC's Leonides Ignatius managed to reach the ball for a save. 75 minutes into the match, Pastillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Malvin came free, but Leonides Ignatius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cristo Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marzala's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Ciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Ignatius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justino Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marzala's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
