Spectators: 6394 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The tension between the Chasicó and the Calmayo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lázaro Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Hug in the 8th minute of play. Chasicó's Lisandro Rioja got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Leon Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Guillelmo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Hilario Lizar sent off a good shot on target. Leon Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Hug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Hug took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lázaro Ortzi. Lázaro Ortzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Hug in the 33rd minute of play forced Chasicó's goalkeeper Lázaro Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Hilario Lizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chasicó's Hipolito Firme suffered a sore thigh after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Roque Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calmayo FC's protests and gave Roque Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Calmayo FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Duarte. Hilario Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calmayo FC's Mauro Guillelmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Calmayo FC from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute of the match Chasicó got a corner. Calmayo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amador Vedillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 56th minute, Hilario Lizar made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Guillelmo. Calmayo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 61st minute Leon Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calmayo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
