The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Eduardo Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Uxio couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Uxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Leonides Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Uxio in the 17th minute of play forced Pastillos AFC's goalkeeper Leonides Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Kaiet's late challenge caught a MONOS VERDES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adan Kaiet helped the player get up and apologised. Alvaro Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Ignatius having to interfere. The supporters of Pastillos AFC booed when MONOS VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Pabla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Ado in the 31st minute of play. Alvaro Uxio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Leonides Ignatius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MONOS VERDES. The attack was good, but when Alvaro Uxio in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvio Abad to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Alvaro Uxio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONOS VERDES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Uxio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquilino Eguzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Ignatius having to interfere. Casimiro Panpili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Medina went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 68 minutes, Eduardo Ado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONOS VERDES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Ado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pastillos AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ildefonso Tabb hit a great ball. Alvaro Uxio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Leonides Ignatius made a huge save. After having played for 76 minutes, Melquiades Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONOS VERDES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Damario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pastillos AFC's Adan Kaiet got a free kick in the 78th minute. Eliseo Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Panpili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Otsando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Alvaro Uxio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONOS VERDES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Uxio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MONOS VERDES's Alvaro Uxio got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseo Medina hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, MONOS VERDES failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
