Spectators: 7311 (Terracing: 5519, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 100) Iván De Pineda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Melquiades Damario scored to the left of an out of position Igor Cordarin, making the score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Melquiades Damario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Cordarin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Ado in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Alvaro Uxio put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Igor Cordarin. Ruben Menor hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Iván De Pineda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Ignatius to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Iván De Pineda's zone, Severo Pagomari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Cordarin came out of the goal and Severo Pagomari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaston Xabat took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Panpili. Casimiro Panpili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Bernardo Pabla hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Severo Pagomari charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Pagomari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes MONOS VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Severo Pagomari. After a defensive mix-up in MONOS VERDES's zone, Jonas Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Panpili came out of the goal and Jonas Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Gaston Xabat made a precise shot to the right of Casimiro Panpili. MONOS VERDES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Alvaro Uxio made the kick off in the second half. If Gaston Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Panpili was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaston Xabat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 57 minute of play. Gaston Xabat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casimiro Panpili having to make a save. Casimiro Panpili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes MONOS VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Lleir. Iván De Pineda's Bartolo Matthew shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Casimiro Panpili but with some difficulty. 70 minutes in the game, Gaston Xabat fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Casimiro Panpili having to interfere. Iván De Pineda's Igor Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Uxio in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of MONOS VERDES booed when Iván De Pineda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Rosio hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MONOS VERDES! The goalkeeper, Casimiro Panpili, was totally fooled by Iván De Pineda's Bartolo Matthew, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 84th minute, Eduardo Ado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Ruisko hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of MONOS VERDES booed when Iván De Pineda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Ignatius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Cordarin came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by MONOS VERDES's Florentino Ruisko. But to his dismay, Florentino Ruisko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Igor Cordarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Ado in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of MONOS VERDES booed when Iván De Pineda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Ignatius didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, MONOS VERDES's Casimiro Panpili got control of the ball when Jonas Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 99th minute, Iván De Pineda's Gaston Xabat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casimiro Panpili. Casimiro Panpili yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. Iván De Pineda's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
