The Iván De Pineda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jesus Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Aurinegro FC's Clodoveo Astrada got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Xabat in the 14th minute of play forced Aurinegro FC's goalkeeper Jesus Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Jonas Valadares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Balendin. Aurinegro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Rosendo Rafe hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Bartolo Matthew sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Aurinegro FC's Jesus Balendin didn't even have to move. Aurinegro FC's Jesus Balendin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Aurinegro FC from getting a goal against them. After 28 played minutes Iván De Pineda got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Xabat. Iván De Pineda's attentive Bartolo Matthew managed to snatch the ball when Eloy Guillen made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Aurinegro FC's goalkeeper Jesus Balendin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Valadares. After some careless play in the Aurinegro FC defense, Jonas Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Balendin. The Aurinegro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Balendin should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Aurinegro FC's zone, Jonas Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Balendin came out of the goal and Jonas Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gaston Xabat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Valadares took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Balendin. Jesus Balendin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Iván De Pineda's Bartolo Matthew quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eloy Guillen, made in the 61st minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Iván De Pineda's Gaston Xabat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Balendin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jesus Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Valadares in the 64th minute of the match. Jesus Balendin came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Iván De Pineda's Gaston Xabat. But to his dismay, Gaston Xabat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Bartolo Matthew took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jesus Balendin. Aurinegro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jesus Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Valadares in the 73rd minute of the match. Igor Cordarin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toto Schillaci's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Iván De Pineda's Gaston Xabat got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaston Xabat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jesus Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Eloy Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesus Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Aurinegro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
