In the 23rd minute Casimiro Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Nyqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Casimiro Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The long shot by Norberto Inko in the 43rd minute really tested Lázaro Ortzi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 45th minute, Bartolo Bilbo made a precise shot to the right of Lázaro Ortzi. Chasicó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Espiridion was the one to do the kick off. Lisandro Rioja struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Morgan Nyqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chasicó. Casimiro Espiridion was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Lisandro Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Jusepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Benicio Jusepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Benicio Jusepe came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Jusepe couldn't finish the play. Benicio Jusepe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Ortzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Chasicó getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hipolito Firme hit a great ball. San Lorenzo's Norberto Inko couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chasicó. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Conrao in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Ortzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Epifanio Conrao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Ortzi having to interfere. Morgan Nyqvist made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Lisandro Rioja sent off a good shot on target. Casimiro Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Morgan Nyqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Berbiz. In the 96th minute, Lisandro Rioja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
