When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Toto Schillaci sped through Fakas FC.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prospero Orlondo. A collision led to Aurinegro FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Clodoveo Astrada hit a great ball.

In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aurinegro FC's goalkeeper Jesus Balendin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Ciano succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. If Alberto Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Toto Schillaci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aurinegro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Toto Schillaci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Orlondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 84 minutes of play, Fakas FC.'s Alberto Ciano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Balendin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Ciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Toto Schillaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Bizen kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Prospero Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toto Schillaci in the 99th minute of the match.
