An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Xabat in the 6th minute of play forced Calmayo FC's goalkeeper Mauro Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Mauro Guillelmo managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Iván De Pineda's Jonas Valadares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 12th minute Leon Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Robustiano Peio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Iván De Pineda's Igor Cordarin did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Calmayo FC's zone, Jonas Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Guillelmo came out of the goal and Jonas Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Guillelmo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jonas Valadares sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Guillelmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Xabat in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Iván De Pineda's Jonas Valadares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauro Guillelmo. Mauro Guillelmo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a little luck, Calmayo FC's Mauro Guillelmo got control of the ball when Jonas Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mauro Guillelmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iván De Pineda's Higinio Luar got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Gaston Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Guillelmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Valadares struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Mauro Guillelmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iván De Pineda. In the 41st minute, Dante Guillem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Valadares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 45th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Valadares made a kick off. Placido Ignatius's late challenge caught a Calmayo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Ignatius helped the player get up and apologised. Placido Ignatius hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Silverio Igon, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gaston Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Guillelmo having to interfere. Calmayo FC's Mauro Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Valadares in the 56th minute of play. Fabio Jusepe hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Valadares in the 63rd minute of play forced Calmayo FC's goalkeeper Mauro Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iván De Pineda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bartolo Matthew in the 64th minute. Mauro Guillelmo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Iván De Pineda's Jonas Valadares. But to his dismay, Jonas Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Baldomero Giraldo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Higinio Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Calmayo FC's zone, Jonas Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Guillelmo came out of the goal and Jonas Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Gaston Xabat notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Calmayo FC's Mauro Guillelmo. Mauro Guillelmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mauro Guillelmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Valadares in the 76th minute of play. If Placido Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Duarte's late challenge caught a Iván De Pineda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Iván De Pineda booed when Calmayo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Jonas Valadares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iván De Pineda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 87th match minute, Calmayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Duarte to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Calmayo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Valadares came free, but Mauro Guillelmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Mauro Guillelmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Iván De Pineda's Gaston Xabat in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calmayo FC's goalie prevented a goal.
