Eusebio Ubarna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Ignatius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Perdemos siempre perdemos's goalkeeper Freddy Favila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Otsando. Saverio Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Favila having to interfere. Perdemos siempre perdemos's Eusebio Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The wind increased when Eusebio Ubarna made the kick off in the second half. Leonides Ignatius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eusebio Ubarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Ignatius was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Eusebio Ubarna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eusebio Ubarna really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Eusebio Ubarna struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Leonides Ignatius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perdemos siempre perdemos. During the 79th minute of the match Eliseo Medina completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eliseo Medina a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Melchor Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Ignatius having to interfere. Perdemos siempre perdemos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
