Silverio Igon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mauro Guillelmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Abad in the 18th minute of the match. Leon Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Ignatius having to interfere. When Luciano Bartoli fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pastillos AFC's protests and gave Luciano Bartoli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Pastillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Bartoli to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Medina charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some careless play in the Pastillos AFC defense, Silverio Igon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Ignatius. The Pastillos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Ignatius should have stopped the shot. Rigoberto Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Calmayo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pastillos AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
