When Robustiano Peio fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calmayo FC's protests and gave Robustiano Peio a yellow card for diving instead. Robustiano Peio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Blas Viator was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aurinegro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calmayo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aurinegro FC's Blas Viator got a free kick in the 26th minute. Roque Duarte missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 27 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jesus Balendin right hand side. If Toto Schillaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Toto Schillaci took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Guillelmo. Mauro Guillelmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 35 minutes, Edgard Ezkerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aurinegro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Ezkerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aurinegro FC's Toto Schillaci in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jesus Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leon Hug to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Calmayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Lucila to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Peio was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Aurinegro FC booed when Calmayo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Peio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aurinegro FC's Toto Schillaci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauro Guillelmo. That made the score 0-5 after 82 minutes of play. Delmiro Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
