If Jose Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Lizbeth hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Sarmiento FC's Carlos Leizarraga got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Isidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Oihenarte in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Pastor Oihenarte notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sarmiento FC's Matias Isidor. Matias Isidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. The wind increased when Fausto Florinio made the kick off in the second half. Matias Isidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Racing club's Saverio Lizbeth got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fausto Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aristides Ekialde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jose Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Deportivo Racing club's players were relieved. Aristides Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Florinio in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Sarmiento FC booed when Deportivo Racing club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th play minute Carlos Leizarraga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aristides Ekialde. 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
