All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Scialabba FC booed when Deportivo Racing club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Regis in the 55th minute of play forced Deportivo Racing club's goalkeeper Aristides Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Emesto couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deportivo Racing club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Deportivo Racing club:s Aristides Ekialde showed great skill when he stopped Epifanio Macario:s penalty. A well-hit corner resulted in Efrain Atarrabi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 95th match minute, Deportivo Racing club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Urdin to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Racing club's Aristides Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Emesto in the 96th minute of play. After 98 minutes, Leonel Sendoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Racing club and the Scialabba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 98th minute of the game. One of Deportivo Racing club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Scialabba FC:s goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Scialabba FC fully deserved thier win.
