Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leopoldo Chepe took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Chepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Mincho was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. If Leopoldo Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Bibiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Arias having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AC LEON's zone, Patricio Nesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Mincho came out of the goal and Patricio Nesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Pablo Urti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pancho’s Dream Team getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Leopoldo Chepe hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Severiano Bibiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC LEON's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pancho’s Dream Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, AC LEON's Severiano Bibiano got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Anier Ostargi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pancho’s Dream Team's Antonio Arias. Antonio Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Pancho’s Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Ostargi came free, but Antonio Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Leopoldo Chepe made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Mincho. AC LEON's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 47th play minutes Severiano Bibiano shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Antonio Arias and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half AC LEON were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Severiano Bibiano made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Arias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Ostargi in the 56th minute. Pancho’s Dream Team's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Severiano Bibiano 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. AC LEON's Clemente Mincho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Bilintx in the 64th minute of play. Clemente Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Severiano Bibiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Arias was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Anier Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Antonio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Anier Ostargi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Antonio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Bibiano in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Ostargi got free with Antonio Arias in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC LEON had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
