Spectators: 6822 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 143) Deportivo Racing club's Jose Iyan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Remadores FC's goalkeeper Fausto Perrando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Oihenarte. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Fausto Perrando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rolando Marin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Remadores FC's Rolando Marin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Ekialde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristides Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Remadores FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Bernardo Arnau hit a great ball. When Pastor Oihenarte came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Deportivo Racing club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Oihenarte couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes Deportivo Racing club got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Lizbeth. Fausto Perrando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Oihenarte went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Marin to make the kick off. Angelino Libertad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Ekialde having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, Remadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Oihenarte came free, but Fausto Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo Racing club's Pastor Oihenarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Perrando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Pastor Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Iyan in the 70th minute of the match. Angelino Libertad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Ekialde having to make a save. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Remadores FC's goalkeeper Fausto Perrando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Deportivo Racing club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Angelino Libertad fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Angelino Libertad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aristides Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Racing club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Remadores FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
