Iker Tadzio hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, AC LEON's goalkeeper Clemente Mincho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Emesto. Fabian Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Efrain Atarrabi took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Mincho. Clemente Mincho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 17th minute, Virgilio Emesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scialabba FC's Fabian Regis got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AC LEON's Pablo Urti got a free kick in the 21st minute. Clemente Mincho stood somewhat misplaced when Fabian Regis came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. 32 minutes into the match, Virgilio Emesto notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of AC LEON's Clemente Mincho. Clemente Mincho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Regis in the 35th minute of play forced AC LEON's goalkeeper Clemente Mincho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Tadzio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Fabian Regis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Mincho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Regis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the AC LEON defense, Efrain Atarrabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Mincho. The AC LEON fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Mincho should have stopped the shot. Virgilio Emesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Mincho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Emesto ran back to his position shaking his head. If Virgilio Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Scialabba FC booed when AC LEON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
