Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Severiano Bibiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Segundo Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Mincho having to interfere. Segundo Xabats short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Clemente Mincho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anier Ostargi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Lorenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Timoteo Isauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ranchillos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC LEON the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, AC LEON's Gustavo Tajo tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Severiano Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Bibiano in the 23rd minute of play forced Ranchillos AFC's goalkeeper Saul Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Andres Frederico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Mincho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Pablo Urti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes, Pablo Urti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC LEON and the Ranchillos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severiano Bibiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Saul Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ranchillos AFC's Saul Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Ostargi in the 34th minute of play. Segundo Xabat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Clemente Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Frederico in the 38th minute of play. Anier Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Frederico to strike the kick off in the second half. Severiano Bibiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Saul Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Severiano Bibiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anier Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Ranchillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Mannie. The long shot by Gustavo Tajo in the 81st minute really tested Saul Lorenz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 85th minute, Aurelio Pirmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ranchillos AFC defense, Anier Ostargi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Lorenz. The Ranchillos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Lorenz should have stopped the shot. Clemente Mincho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Andres Frederico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Mincho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
