Fausto Perrando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Roberto Bikendi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. A collision led to Remadores FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Roberto Bikendi hit a great ball. If Virgilio Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Virgilio Emesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Perrando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Emesto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute Fabian Regis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Libertad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Virgilio Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Fabian Regis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scialabba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Regis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Perrando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Virgilio Emesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scialabba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Romeo Cordarius fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scialabba FC's protests and gave Romeo Cordarius a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Cordarius kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Virgilio Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Perrando having to interfere. There was no doubt that Scialabba FC were the better team. Scialabba FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
