In the 4th match minute, Catamarca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Fortun to maneuver through the defense. If Anier Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Santiago came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrella Roja de Lomas's Rafael Oihenarte. But to his dismay, Rafael Oihenarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ludomir Lato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Ortzi having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Javiar during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dante Javiar kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Quintan in the 26th minute of play forced Estrella Roja de Lomas's goalkeeper Fabio Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Ortzi having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Estrella Roja de Lomas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Rainerio to maneuver through the defense. Ludomir Lato struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Fabio Ortzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catamarca FC. If Ludomir Lato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Ortzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Fortun's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Estrella Roja de Lomas got a freekick which was hit by Dante Javiar. In the 42nd minute, Jeronimo Bento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Tiniebra made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Catamarca FC's Fabio Ortzi threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ludomir Lato, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Catamarca FC's zone, Dante Javiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Santiago came out of the goal and Dante Javiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godofredo Tiniebra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Catamarca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 冯岩烽 to maneuver through the defense. Estrella Roja de Lomas's Dante Javiar got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Dante Javiar off the ground. After 61 played minutes Estrella Roja de Lomas got a freekick which was hit by Dante Javiar. Aaron Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludomir Lato in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Ortzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Ludomir Lato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Oihenarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Santiago having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Estrella Roja de Lomas! The goalkeeper, Fabio Ortzi, was totally fooled by Catamarca FC's Ludomir Lato, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Estrella Roja de Lomas's Fabio Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Lato in the 81st minute of play. Aaron Quirce was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Aaron Quirce hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Ludomir Lato lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Fabio Ortzi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludomir Lato in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Ortzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
