In the 24th minute Damaso Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Gora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Gora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Basajaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sabinistas FC booed when Remedios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Gorosti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Ugutz, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Flavio Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Basajaun struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Gervasio Gora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabinistas FC. Gervasio Gora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Lauaxeta to strike the kick off in the second half. Flavio Lauaxeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Lauaxeta got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gervasio Gora handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A hard shot 59 in the game by Guillermo Basajaun from a close distance when the talented Gervasio Gora managed to make a qualified save. Remedios's players were relieved. A collision led to Remedios getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lucas Iturri hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Remedios's zone, Flavio Lauaxeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Gora came out of the goal and Flavio Lauaxeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Damaso Banegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Remedios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Caton to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Caton in the 74th minute of play forced Sabinistas FC's goalkeeper Genaro Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Basajaun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gervasio Gora having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Lauaxeta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gervasio Gora. That made the score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Guillermo Basajaun notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Remedios's Gervasio Gora. Gervasio Gora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Higinio Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Gora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
