After 7th play minutes Basilio Bertin shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Leonel Gaskon and just under the crossbar into goal. La Deseada's Leonel Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Bertin in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Cristo Urritz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Gaskon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Basilio Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Leonel Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Bertin in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel Gaskon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Basilio Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Beltxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in La Deseada's zone, Basilio Bertin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Gaskon came out of the goal and Basilio Bertin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimeno Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Gaskon having to interfere. Basilio Bertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Orlando Estebano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Caspichango's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 55th minute Venancio Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Bertin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Leonel Gaskon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonel Gaskon made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Martin Lucado sent off a good shot on target. Leonel Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Estebano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Bertin scored 0-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Gaskon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Leonel Gaskon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. La Deseada's Leonel Gaskon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save La Deseada from getting a goal against them. Melchor Lazcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Abeita in the 80th minute of play. Leonel Gaskon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Basilio Bertin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Bertin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Leonel Gaskon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Basilio Bertin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Leonel Gaskon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Martin Lucado struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Leonel Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caspichango. Caspichango's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
