Filiberto Inguma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Geronimo Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remedios's Antonio Cristofol got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Remedios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Iturri to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Seguinus might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Gora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisito Seguinus ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Luisito Seguinus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROMAN F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

ROMAN F.C.'s Geronimo Francis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Inguma in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Remedios's goalkeeper Gervasio Gora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Seguinus. If Filiberto Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Antonio Cristofol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Francis was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
