The crowd rose to their feet as Gómez's Natalio Viviano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonel Gaskon. That made the score 2-3 after 90 minutes of play. Moises Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Leonel Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The La Deseada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gómez's performance. The match ended with a win for Gómez.
