Desmochado FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Caspichango's Melchor Lazcano got control of the ball when Primitivo Galeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Desmochado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Bertin came free, but Honorio Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Caspichango's Basilio Bertin in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Basilio Bertin took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Odilon. Honorio Odilon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Basilio Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Honorio Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Odilon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primitivo Galeno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Cristo Urritz in the 58th minute really tested Honorio Odilon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Basilio Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Odilon having to interfere. Caspichango's Rodrigo Txomin got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Desmochado FC's Sixto Karmel got a free kick in the 65th minute. Basilio Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Odilon having to interfere. Honorio Odilon made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Jimeno Ourente sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Desmochado FC booed when Caspichango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Bertin in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Odilon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, Caspichango's Basilio Bertin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Odilon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute of the match Caspichango got a corner. Desmochado FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Astor Cordarell ran over to the corner to take the kick. Caspichango's Astor Cordarell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Honorio Odilon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Martin Lucado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Honorio Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caspichango's Basilio Bertin got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Desmochado FC's goalkeeper Honorio Odilon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Lucado. Basilio Bertin struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Honorio Odilon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caspichango. If Martin Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Petrigai hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. If Basilio Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caspichango's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
