Guillermo Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Remigio Orlondon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Basajaun went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Melchor Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Remigio Orlondon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gap FC booed when Sabinistas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Flavio Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Basajaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Flavio Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabinistas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Lauaxeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the game, Martin Pes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabinistas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gap FC the free kick. Martin Pes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Lauaxeta to make the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Sabinistas FC's Guillermo Basajaun tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Genaro Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Domeka, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Domeka in the 78th minute of play forced Sabinistas FC's goalkeeper Genaro Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Remigio Orlondon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gap FC's Remigio Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Lauaxeta in the 89th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sabinistas FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
