Genaro Pello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Inguma in the 9th minute of play. Antonio Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Lauaxeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Gora having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Guillermo Basajaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabinistas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Basajaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Sabinistas FC defense, Antonio Cristofol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Pello. The Sabinistas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Pello should have stopped the shot. Lucas Iturri charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Iturri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Iturri hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Flavio Lauaxeta struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Gervasio Gora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabinistas FC. Remedios's Lucas Iturri got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Lucas Iturri off the ground. Gervasio Gora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Lauaxeta went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Genaro Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Cristofol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Antonio Cristofol notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sabinistas FC's Genaro Pello. Genaro Pello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Remedios were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Cristofol to make the kick off. Antonio Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Pello having to interfere. Sabinistas FC's Genaro Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Inguma in the 60th minute of play. If Flavio Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Basajaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Gora having to interfere. Flavio Lauaxeta took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Gora. Gervasio Gora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 79 minutes into the game, Sabinistas FC's Guillermo Basajaun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Gora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After 82 played minutes Sabinistas FC got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Banegas. After 84 minutes, Damaso Banegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabinistas FC and the Remedios players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gervasio Gora came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Sabinistas FC's Flavio Lauaxeta. But to his dismay, Flavio Lauaxeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Remedios's Gervasio Gora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Basajaun in the 91st minute of play. Flavio Lauaxeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Gora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Sabinistas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
