But to his dismay, Marcos Elivareo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Estefan in the 28th minute of play forced Tellier FC's goalkeeper Tomas Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Abilio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabricio Sugoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgardo Abilio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 31st minute. Edgardo Abilio struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Fabricio Sugoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tellier FC. After a defensive mix-up in Aston Birra FC's zone, Edgardo Abilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Sugoi came out of the goal and Edgardo Abilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabricio Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Abilio in the 41st minute of play. Edgardo Abilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Sugoi having to interfere. After the first half Aston Birra FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Abilio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Aston Birra FC's Abel Lopez got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Tellier FC's goalkeeper Tomas Macario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Elivareo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Lopez during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atilano Estefan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Macario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Estefan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Estefan in the 65th minute of play forced Tellier FC's goalkeeper Tomas Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Aston Birra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Abilio came free, but Fabricio Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Aston Birra FC defense, Edgardo Abilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Sugoi. The Aston Birra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Sugoi should have stopped the shot. Tomas Macario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Cuarto in the 73rd minute. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Edgardo Abilio sped through Aston Birra FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabricio Sugoi. In the 82nd minute Edgardo Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Behzat Safih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aston Birra FC's Fabricio Sugoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgardo Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tellier FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
