Sañicó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilano Estefan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sañicó's Narciso Gorka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Estefan in the 12th minute of play. Sebastian Behe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabricio Sugoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Behe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 15th minute. Desiderio Eder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Sañicó's Sebastian Behe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabricio Sugoi. Fabricio Sugoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Sañicó's Gogo Lluques got a free kick in the 24th minute. Desiderio Eder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Sugoi having to interfere. A collision led to Sañicó getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Enrique Kemen hit a great ball. Narciso Gorka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Estefan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When Angelo Ayala fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aston Birra FC's protests and gave Angelo Ayala a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aston Birra FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Angelo Ayala hit a great ball. Sebastian Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aston Birra FC's Angelo Ayala got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Angelo Ayala off the ground. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Elivareo was the one to do the kick off. Fabricio Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Eder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Elivareos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Narciso Gorka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Sañicó's zone, Marcos Elivareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Gorka came out of the goal and Marcos Elivareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Aston Birra FC's Fulgencio Enaut seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fulgencio Enaut the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aston Birra FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fulgencio Enaut had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aston Birra FC! If Enrique Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sebastian Behe came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Sañicó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Behe couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Sañicó's Sebastian Behe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Eder couldn't finish the play. Sañicó's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
