Caspichango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spinetto F.C. the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Baldomero Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Frutos made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Zacarias Garaile sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Delmar Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Hurko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Calvet having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Caspichango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Eufrasio to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Magdaleno was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Caspichango's goalkeeper Delmar Frutos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Garaile. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Claudio Hurko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caspichango's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Hurko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Calvet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Sarracino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Frutos having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Claudio Hurko notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Spinetto F.C.'s Eustacio Calvet. Eustacio Calvet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacarias Garaile got free with Delmar Frutos in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustacio Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Vinicio Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spinetto F.C.'s protests and gave Vinicio Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Spinetto F.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vinicio Abreu hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Spinetto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Hurko came free, but Eustacio Calvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Vinicio Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Hurko was the one to do the kick off. Caspichango's Delmar Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Sarracino in the 54th minute of play. Claudio Hurko took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Calvet. Eustacio Calvet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Higinio Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eustacio Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Spinetto F.C.'s zone, Claudio Hurko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Calvet came out of the goal and Claudio Hurko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fermin Gutxi during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Spinetto F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Hurko in the 79th minute of the match. Claudio Hurko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Calvet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Caspichango booed when Spinetto F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Calvet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Hurko's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Higinio Reyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustacio Calvet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Reyes ran back to his position shaking his head. Feliberto Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Delmar Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Garaile, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Higinio Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 99th minute, Claudio Hurko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
