A collision led to La Maquina Roja getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Pastor Aimar hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Isaac Otsando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Laureano Rosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Maquina Roja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Otsando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ubaldo Christobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Charro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, La Maquina Roja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Charro to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Charro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Laureano Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Otsando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Isaac Otsando came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ocelot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Otsando couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Otsando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Isaac Otsando in the 52ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Laureano Rosio had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Filiberto Beila was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Ocelot's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Isaac Otsando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenio Charro took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ubaldo Christobal. Ubaldo Christobal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 67 minutes into the match, Ocelot's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Charro came free, but Ubaldo Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Maquina Roja's Laureano Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Beila in the 75th minute of play. Flavio Jago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Kemen in the 79th minute of play forced Ocelot's goalkeeper Ubaldo Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Alfonso hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Filiberto Beila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laureano Rosio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
