Albino Sidro started the match with the kick off. Ambrosio Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Bazkoare, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in NAZARET's zone, Victoriano Bazkoare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Osmundo came out of the goal and Victoriano Bazkoare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herminio Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Herminio Bastia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambrosio Osmundo. NAZARET's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Bastia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Anselmo Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Lorenz in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Roman Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the game, Daniel Chano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Moretti FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NAZARET the free kick. After 17 played minutes Real Moretti FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Chano. Albino Sidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximino Abeita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Edgard Lorenz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Txaran was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 24 played minutes Real Moretti FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Honesto. Ambrosio Osmundo was a little too slow when Victoriano Bazkoare got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Bazkoare in the 35th minute of play forced NAZARET's goalkeeper Ambrosio Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Txaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Sidro in the 45th minute of the match. Edgard Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Anselmo Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Bazkoare to make the kick off. Serafino Otsoko's late challenge caught a Real Moretti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafino Otsoko helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in NAZARET fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Roman Shantala's late challenge caught a NAZARET's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Shantala helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of NAZARET booed when Real Moretti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. NAZARET's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Lorenz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Txaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victoriano Bazkoare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Herminio Bastia came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Real Moretti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Bastia couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Siro Mateus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Anselmo Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edgard Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Moretti FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while NAZARET had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
